Sheldon Donig

Los Angeles based investor and collector Sheldon Donig is a well beloved patron of pop surrealism for the southern California region. His collection of art is as deeply prolific as it is noteworthy.  To barely scratch the surface one finds works by Mark Ryden, Chet Zar, even Robert Williams (groundbreaking pillar of the pop surrealist movement and founder of Juxtapoz Magazine). Sheldon’s addition of Cody’s “Scion of a Budgie-Sattva” painting inducts Seekins’ Jātaka Tales  into a company of world class modern greats.

Donig’s penchant for creative investment extends equally into acquisition of antique and custom automobiles, as well as a verve for living life as the fullest, weird adventure that it is.
